BENNETT LAB Home Research & Publications People Teaching News More About Heather Contact BENNETT ​LAB Overview of Research Trinity College ​Department of Biology ​Life Sciences Center Hartford, CT 06106 ​ I am a broadly trained biologist with interests in uncovering the genes, neural circuits, and molecular pathways that respond to changes in oxygen levels. Additionally, I am interested in how animals adapt to and acquire resistance to oxygen deprivation. Research in my lab uses the nematode worm Caenorhabditis elegans ( C. elegans) to uncover the cellular and molecular mechanisms that allow animals to survive abnormal oxygen environments.
